Breakfast was a real highlight, with loads of organic choices, and there’s a fitness room too. My single room felt roomy, including the bathroom, and the bed was really comfortable. It had a kettle, coffee, tea, a TV with Chromecast, and a hairdryer. The staff were lovely and the service had a little extra polish. I’d happily recommend Thon Hotell for a stay in Hammerfest.

Everyone I dealt with was helpful, friendly, and professional. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and the quality was very good. Rooms were kept clean and in good shape, though they did feel on the small side.

Breakfast was great. The basic room is pretty compact, but the layout works well and it was reasonably clean and comfortable. It had what I’d expect from a Scandinavian hotel.

The penthouse suite was wonderful, with lots of space and a fantastic view over the harbour.

Breakfast was the best I’ve had so far, and the customer service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the room too: it was spacious, had a seating area, and looked out over the harbour. The USB points and very modern TV were welcome. The shower had strong pressure, though the toiletries didn’t appeal to me, and they still came in single-use plastic tubes. Parking is a bit of a hassle, since it’s free only from 17-8 and costs money outside those hours.
