I've stayed here several times for work and have always been pleased. There are a few room and cabin options, and dogs are welcome.

The one real drawback is no AC. It gets pretty hot in summer, so this seems better for a cooler time of year. My room was comfortable and clean, with both a shower and bathtub in the bathroom. There's also a small gym with basic equipment.

The breakfast is simple, but there's enough to choose from to keep it varied day to day. And the Breakfast Lady is a legend, full of energy and cheer from 6am, a great boost before a long workday. Dinner was fantastic, especially the deer steak, fish soup with caviar, and homemade bread. The rooms were modern, cosy, very clean, with comfortable beds and mini bars.

Our 4 year old loved the room, breakfast and playground so much that he suggested we move in for good. We'd happily go again. The hotel sits in a lovely spot near parks, a local bakery and a viking village, with complimentary el-chargers nearby. Service and breakfast are straightforward and efficient, there's an exercise room and the rooms are spacious. You can also rent cabins and apartments in conjunction with the hotel.

Maybe summer would be better for tourists. In winter it feels like a workers hotel. The sheets were changed only 1x a week, housekeeping was poor, and the restaurant had only a buffet, which wasn't the highest quality.
