They were happy to help us plan for North Cape and the northern lights, and when we checked out, they even looked up the weather for wherever we were heading. Everyone we met, from reception and housekeeping to the waiters, came across as genuinely friendly. The rooms were clean, and the view was great. A great hotel.

A really good choice if you're traveling by car. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Late one evening, they went around knocking on every room because the northern lights were out :)

We could see the northern lights right from our window, and the room was quiet. The food was delicious, too, and the chef was kind.

The staff made a packed breakfast for me when I had to leave before breakfast service for my bus. I enjoyed it on the way to Alta, and I really appreciated that. The breakfast buffet was good, and dinner was very good as well. I traveled around Scandinavia for a month and stayed at quite a few hotels. They were all nice, but this one was my favorite. I hope I get to come back someday. I stayed for two nights and traveled by public transport.

The room was quiet, and we even caught sight of some aurora borealis from our room. The view was beautiful and everything else was fine, but there was hardly any fresh air or ventilation in the room.
