Breakfast was the highlight of our New Year’s stay in 2025. It was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in ages, especially the bread, and I couldn’t fault it. The reception and restaurant were beautifully decorated, cosy, and welcoming. We booked a standard double, so the room being a little small was no problem. It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We recommend staying here and will certainly come back.

The restaurant alone is worth a visit. The food was out of this world, and the chef is hard to describe. Breakfast was wonderful too, with a huge buffet for every age. Our room was basic in size, which suited us, but had all the amenities we needed. It felt fresh, smelled good, and was clean. The bathroom was modern and up to date, and the beds were perfect. The staff were great and very helpful. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m in Horten.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the prices felt accurate. Staff were helpful and the service was great. Tea and coffee were available any time of day. Handy location for the ferry, and Oslo is about an hour’s drive away.

The building looks old outside, but inside it’s modern and welcoming. Rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was good. Great location too. No complaints from me, and I’d stay again when I’m in town.

There was a bad smell in the first-floor corridor of the hotel building across the street. They seemed to be trying to cover it with an air freshener. At the start of breakfast, the hot food was only warm.
