The pizza looked alright, but had almost no flavor and left a sour, metallic aftertaste. I waited 10 minutes just to order, even though there was no queue, then paid 255 nkr for a really small pizza. They didn't call me when it was ready, just left it on the counter. Way too expensive for what it was. I wouldn't stop here again.

The location is lovely, and the service was nice, which is why I'm giving it three stars. But the place charges luxury hotel prices without feeling like a luxury hotel, and seems to cut corners. In June, when the sun never sets, the ordinary curtains let the light disturb your sleep instead of blocking it out. The “double bed” is just two singles that slide apart if you so much as touch them during the night. Those issues alone would usually leave me at one star.

The food was really good, and the service was cheerful, friendly, and smiley. I can't say much about the room, since I didn't stay there.

Parking is good, and the hotel has decent facilities. The cafe serves simple but tasty food and a range of soft drinks, with friendly staff. I especially enjoyed the frozen yogurt or soft ice cream from the old-fashioned dispenser. A handy place.
