That peaceful, gorgeous setting is the best part, and the local grocery shop is close enough for supplies. The cabins are thoughtfully laid out and come in sizes that work for different groups. Ours sleeps six, though the living area could feel crowded with that many people; three fit comfortably. I deducted a star because the kitchen supplies were lacking: there was only a bread knife for cooking and prep, and no cheese plane. If campers are better equipped than we were, this would be a five-star stay.

Leaving this beautiful part of Norway to go back to work was the one thing I didn't enjoy. The countryside is vast, and the hill walk is a must. We stayed in very clean cabins and found them comfortable, and fishing on a fjord in a boat hired from the proprietors was a wonderful experience. The few restaurants nearby served delicious, very traditional food. We had such a great time here, it felt like a gateway to heaven. We'll definitely come again.

There’s plenty of room for your things, and the kitchen is well equipped. The location has a lovely view over the Fjord. There’s also a big TV in the living room and free Wi-Fi.

The family made us feel so welcome and warm. Everything you need is right there. I only got back a couple of weeks ago, and it felt like leaving heaven. I’ll definitely visit again soon!
