The owners were friendly, attentive older people, and spoke Norwegian, English, and some German, so it was easy to communicate with them. Our ground-floor apartment was small but worked for four people. It had a little bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom, and a combined kitchen and living area. The kitchen had a Murphy bed and sofa bed that needed folding away each time because of the limited space. We were all happy with the sleeping arrangements. There was enough kitchen equipment for simple meals, though we missed a garlic press and a larger coffee maker. The big fridge had plenty of room for chilled and frozen items, but the ice dispenser wasn’t working. The terrace was accessible through its own apartment door or the shared equipment room. Since all guests use that area, it could be hard to find some peace and quiet. The boats were a real disappointment. Our booked 22-foot boat was out of order and under repair every day. The 24-foot boat had propeller trouble, fixed only on the second-to-last day, and its 40 hp engine didn’t seem to add much power. We also tried the wooden boat. It has charm and lots of room, but it’s noisy and slow, and not one to take out in bad weather.

We spent a weekend here, and the weather was fantastic. It was lovely and quiet on the pier, watching the boats, even though the main road is only 500 meters away.

The host was so nice and helpful. We had a great time here, sitting cozily on the pier and taking in the beautiful harbor.

A cozy reception and a nice place. The shower was good, and even with a lovely bedroom, the sofa bed was good too. 😅
