Breakfast was decent, with salmon included, though nothing spectacular. I stayed one night before the ferry. The room had a fridge and kettle, and the mattress was a bit soft, which I liked. It’s not luxurious, but more than good enough. There was plenty of parking, even with a trailer behind my car. Reception closes at 23:00, but you can check in later. You’ll need to pick up a hairdryer at reception.

They know people may need to catch the 07:00 ferry, so checking out before the regular time and eating breakfast early is familiar to them. They explain this if you ask when you arrive. Breakfast is good, and you can start a little before the announced time. Not everything is ready at 6:15, but there are simple things to eat so you can still get to the ferry or work on time. There’s free parking right in front. The service staff answered our questions quickly and kindly, and the hotel was good in other ways too, including the extras.

The room was lovely, and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was good too. It’s a little pricey, though most things in Norway are. If the entrance is hard to spot, go through the small gate. I attached a picture.

An interesting historic building that’s easy to find. There’s free parking, and it’s a 15-minute drive to the ferry. You can have a drink in the bar in the evening before bed.

The rooms are really bad, the internet barely works, and breakfast was bad too. There’s no hairdryer in the room, so you have to get one from reception. Very bad hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I’ll never stay there again.
