Make time for a walk in the midnight sun if you visit in summer. The views just outside the door are breathtaking, and there’s another great spot only a short walk away. Our room was exceptional, the service was perfect, and breakfast was already waiting in the fridge, with a brilliant spread. The location is incredible. I’d give this place more stars if I could. If you get the chance to stay here, do it. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I stayed for one evening in late February 2026 and saw an amazing aurora display right outside the cabin. As an aurora enthusiast and photographer, that was incredible. You’re right over the water in a Norwegian fishing cabin, and you can hear the fjord beneath the floor while lying in bed. The location is perfect for experiencing the aurora borealis. I imagine birding enthusiasts would also enjoy watching the water birds here. All I can say is, this accommodation is exceptional!

We had the dessert, coffee and fish burger, and everything came out quickly, tasted great, and was served very professionally. The place is by the sea with a beautiful view. Thanks to the chef for such a high quality experience. Great visit 👌 Thank you 🍀

We arrived an hour before the cafe/restaurant was due to open, since it was off season in mid-September. The owner was super kind and offered to open it for us, then prepared our meals. The food (cod) was very good and tasty, so we were really happy with the experience. Highly recommended!

We hadn’t planned to stay here, but ended up doing so and were really happy with it. The owners were kind and helpful, and the rooms were nice and clean. It’s a beautiful area, and there’s a gas station and grocery store in town to get ready for the next leg of the adventure. We didn’t use the sauna or hot tub, but they looked clean and well kept. We’d recommend this place wholeheartedly, 10/10!
