The owners and staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a nice surprise since I hadn't realized it was included. There wasn't a huge selection, but what they served was really well done. My room was much cleaner and better than I expected. I only stayed one night as a stop on a long road trip, and I'd happily recommend it for an overnight stay.

There’s a great library with some books in English, and you can take as many as you like. The common area also has a ping pong table, a shared TV, and free Nespresso. The place is clean and tidy, with a kitchenette and the bonus of a private bathroom. The beds are single and the shower is plastic, so it’s not fancy, but it’s very good value for money.

The hosts were super friendly, and breakfast was great. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot by the lake, with a charging station for electric cars when available. The rooms were spacious. The armchair looked a little dated, but that was fine.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Gjesthus, and both were delicious. What stayed with me most, though, was how warmly the owners welcomed us. The place has a lovely feel to it. I really recommend it.
