So far, this is the best restaurant we’ve found in the wider area. Finally, fresh food that’s well prepared, with authentic ingredients and a refined touch.

The restaurant has a beautiful seaside location, and the service was incredibly friendly and pleasant. The fish quality, unfortunately, wasn’t up to standard. I sent several follow-up emails about it and got no reply. By the sea, you’d expect seafood quality not to be an issue.

Nyksund Ekspedisjonen was a really lovely place to stay. Sandra and the rest of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Our room was comfortable and cosy, the food was delicious, and it made a perfect base for exploring Nyksund and Stø.
