Bjugn Hotell

I regret having to say this, because the place wasn't like this years ago. With just me and my four coworkers staying there, we were all put in closet-sized lock-off rooms. There was hardly space for luggage or to work at the tiny wall bump they seem to call a desk. The TV was fixed in an awkward spot and couldn't be moved, and there was no way to connect USB, Bluetooth, or HDMI. There weren't many channels either. No kitchenette, either. At least there was a bed, and Goldilocks and her three pals weren't in it. I can't post the pictures here, but I can put them on Facebook. We arrived to a slushy, uncleared walkway and a parking lot that hadn't been plowed. That should have been taken care of. Breakfast looked like whatever was left in the fridge. Of everything there, I could only eat an orange and a small carton of juice. There was no staff on site, despite the advertised 24-hour service, which is by phone. The place felt lifeless, like a convent. When the hotel was empty apart from our group, this was a missed chance to show us what a good place it could be. I won't stay again. I hate to say all this, but that's how it was. The positive side? The room had a bed.

The gym is the best I've seen in a hotel like this. Staff were excellent, and the rooms and amenities were nice too.

I was there for two work-related nights. The hotel looks good, and the room was cramped, but it did the job.

The breakfast was great, and the amenities were good. The room was small, but it worked for what I needed.
