💕 Such a peaceful stay. We loved it.

We stayed three nights as four adults, and the shared areas gave us plenty of room under the Covid-19 restrictions. The place has good space and equipment, and having two showers was handy. It was a nice place for a work team to sleep out in the forest. There were quite a few issues, though. It wasn't very clean, just okay, and there were no cleaning cloths or much soap for tidying up during or after our stay. We had to get dishwashing liquid ourselves, and there were no dishwasher tablets. It looked like the previous guests' dishes had been washed without any. The jacuzzi didn't work, so I wouldn't recommend using the tub either, since its jets weren't working. The fireplace couldn't be used because there was no chimney. The TV subscription had expired, and the remote was missing batteries. Toilet keys were missing too. When the power went out, we couldn't get to the fuse box. Pillows and mattresses were thin.
The beds were really comfortable, and everything was clean, with the amenities in good working order. We stayed twice, for one night each time, and would happily stay again on another trip to Norway.
The cabin was spacious and good value, with kitchenware, towels, and bedding provided. Since we had it all to ourselves because of Covid, that was a relief. The glass and floor were dirty. RiksTV apparently stopped working in 2013, and the remote had no batteries. When the power failed, we couldn't reach the fuse box. There was no ventilator, or fan in the bathroom, either. The pillows felt slippery, like lefse.
A good spot and an affordable price. The cottage was small but did the job, though it felt more like a site hut. The sheets were laid out and the linen was clean. The shower was tidy, with hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was the letdown. The website said it could be bought there for an extra 15e, but everything was shut in the morning. I called the hotel's emergency service and learned the restaurant that served breakfast had gone bankrupt. They offered to see if they could arrange something, which was a plus, but we decided to carry on and eat at a gas station.
