Frichâ´s Hotel Hamar

We especially liked how easy the self-service check-in and checkout were, and the room was what we expected. The toiletries stood out: shampoo, body wash, and lotion were provided, even in the pool showers and bathrooms, which you don’t find everywhere. 😍 Breakfast was superb, and the hotel is close to shops, fast food, and IKEA. Recommended.

The hairdryer in my room didn’t work at all, and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I told the front desk, but the staff only said “sorry” and made no effort to fix the problem. What bothered me even more was that they then turned to a colleague nearby and laughed. It came across as mocking and felt disrespectful, possibly discriminatory. I expected a much more professional response.

We only stayed one night, and bringing our small dog was no problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel and room were clean. The chef even adjusted some dishes so I could eat them. There was plenty to choose from at the breakfast buffet, and after a swim in the pool, it was lovely to relax in the sauna.

The bedroom was clean and very good, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Both the woman and the man serving breakfast were friendly and helpful, and the food was good too. Thank you so much.
