The owners are lovely and happy to share tips on places to visit in Norway. The cabin is clean and modern, with pots, pans, and cooking utensils, and the showers are great, 10kr for 4 minutes. A great little place at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We didn’t get to see any of the good sides of the place, so this review is based on a bad experience. Filling up with fresh water using a dirty watering can was apparently allowed, but only a few cans at most. There was no option to pay for the service. The separate spots for emptying the toilets and grey water, and the lack of a fresh water hose, seemed cumbersome. At first, filling fresh water and emptying grey water and the toilets seemed fine. But when I said we weren’t staying overnight, suddenly the toilet drains were broken and we couldn’t empty waste water. We didn’t stay to resupply there.

The showers are included in the price, with no extra coins needed, and the dishwashing room, toilets, and showers were clean and decent. Still, this is a chaotic campsite that needs maintenance. It feels rather “weird” now, though I can imagine it was once a wonderful place. There were few tourists during our stay.

Not recommended for tents. It costs 280 NOK for a car and tent, and the campsite’s two tent areas both have problems. The small peninsula could be a nice spot, but you can’t get there by car, and the ground is flooded, almost like a water playground. The other area doesn’t have enough room for more than a couple of tents.

There are a few beautiful spots right by the water, but at 280 NOK for a tent, this is a very expensive campsite for what you get. The staff are quite unfriendly, and the showers aren’t very clean. We stayed just one night, and I wouldn’t recommend staying longer.
