Downtown and just 20m from the ocean, it's an ideal place to stay in Risør. Several bars and restaurants are only a few meters away. I've been here many times and keep coming back for the friendly, excellent service and newly remodelled rooms.

The hotel has a nice sea view, but it was impossible to sleep for many nights in a row. After closing, the bar and restaurant staff partied noisily on the outside terrace until 02.00-03.00, disturbing guests. They showed no respect for the people staying there. We also went four days without any cleaning. They said it was because of Covid 19, which is hard to understand. With a virus around, we need more cleaning than usual, yet nobody came to change the towels or even collect the garbage. Very disappointed.

We had Norwegian breakfast for the first time, and it was really good! A good place to sleep in Risor, with a sea view.

The staff are very friendly and the service is great. I love this place. In summer, try visiting the lighthouse island and having dinner there. It's a serious culinary experience.

Right on the pier, this is a nice little hotel with plenty of local charm and good service. It's a bit worn down and could use some upgrades, but the location and service more than make up for that.
