There were lots of places to eat and get coffee close by, and it was a handy base for hikes or a run. The room felt like the coziest one of my trip, with lovely local carpets on the bed. It’s a short walk from the train station, though the route climbs a little. Breakfast was great, even if the coffee in the thermos wasn’t to my continental taste. The room also stayed a bit light at night.

I’d happily stay here again. The room was roomy and clean, and even the bathroom soap was good. Breakfast had loads of choices, and dinner at the restaurant was great. The staff were warm and accommodating, and offered useful suggestions for things to do in town. It passes my “twiceness” test, no question.

On our way from Trondheim back to Oslo, we spent one night here. The restaurant was a highlight: we had halibut and reindeer, both really excellent, and tried a tasty local cider too. Staff were very kind. The rooms were pretty nice, and for Norway the value was quite good.

I found this the least appealing hotel of my trip to Norway. It was clean, but felt damp and really crowded. The light blinds let in too much light for us to sleep. There’s hotel parking round the back. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

We had dinner at the restaurant too, and the food was delicious. Service was super friendly. Thanks, Sara, for explaining the dishes so kindly and for your radiant smile 😀. The apartment itself was beautiful and spacious, with old factory details. Everything was there and clean.
