The staff were so friendly and flexible. They let me check in early and even put together a breakfast box for my early checkout. I had a fantastic time at the Turisthotell and highly recommend staying here if you're in town.

I admired the hotel's architecture in July 2024. I wasn't a guest, but it makes a beautiful, refined, classic impression, like a lovely story from another era. It was founded in 1877, and surely many notable people have stayed there and eaten in the restaurant over the years.

The manager was attentive and personable, and the service was great. There isn't a menu, just that day's selections. On the night we ate there were only two, but I have no regrets. The food was amazing, with ingredients put together so every bite worked. We found this gem on our last night in Norway, so didn't get to return. Highly recommend.

Our view was incredible, and everyone on staff was helpful and polite. The hotel is cosy, wonderful and perfectly located. I had an amazing stay, and it's one of my favourite hotels. Highly recommend.

The staff were really friendly, and everyone in my party enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was better than at most Norwegian hotels, and the shared bathroom was very nice, with no wait whenever we needed it. We had a double room with a very comfortable bed, and the price was reasonable. The Wi-Fi wasn't the strongest, but it worked. The hotel is right on the main road, and the biggest drawback was the very loud wannabe F1 drivers racing past out front.
