We were lucky with the neighbors above us and had no noise issues, though the sound insulation isn't great, so that could be a problem. We stayed on the first floor and really enjoyed it. The lodge was very clean, check-in was easy, and it had everything we needed, even a cooking steamer and a sauna.

The cabin is in a developing area, and its access road wasn't on Google Maps. The owner sent directions, but the road itself was bumpy and dusty. We also found distances to tourist spots longer than expected: getting to Flam took two hours and involved a ferry, even though we'd thought it was a short 80 km trip. For us, the price felt a little high. The cabin itself was brand new, modern, and surrounded by mountains, with a good mountain view from the room. It had a well-equipped modern kitchen, a coffee machine, game console, music player, large bathroom, and car parking. It also seemed like there are ski activities nearby in winter. Entry used a PIN, which was messaged to us before arrival, and the smart setup made access convenient. We did have trouble finding the right door and had to call the owner. All the information and instructions were provided on a smartphone.

We really loved our stay and would treasure the chance to come back. The room's modern, smart facilities seemed to meet everyone's needs. It looks like a lovely place for a family or friends' holiday, in summer or winter.
