The location is hard to beat, with anywhere in the city centre within a 15-minute walk. The hosts were welcoming, especially the very kind and helpful lady who speaks Spanish and answered all my questions. Everything was well organized, with clear instructions that made it easy to figure out how things work. I stayed off-season, when there was plenty of room and it felt comfortable. It might get a bit crowded during the summer peak. I had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The host was really friendly and showed me around, and I’d happily come back anytime. It’s a nice hostel near the city centre, with most tourist attractions reachable on foot. My room was clean and the bed comfortable, and there’s a cozy common room along with a well-equipped kitchen. I’m really happy with my stay. :)

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Central Stavanger Guesthouse and would definitely choose this hostel again if we return to Stavanger. It felt like home, with a spacious room, everything clean, and a kitchen we could use to make simple dinners after long days. The guesthouse is in a quiet residential area just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. Booking was easy, and Jan Kristian was very helpful.

I had a great experience here: it was clean, safe, welcoming, and cozy, and the hosts were very attentive. The location is excellent, with lots of places less than a 10-minute walk away. There are many more reviews for it on Booking.com, so look it up there too.

Jan Christian and Ruby keep the place clean, affordable, and thoughtfully run. It feels like a warm guest house more than a hostel. Solo travellers seem to gravitate here, which makes it easy to trade tips and even find someone to do a trail or two with.
