The bus stop is right outside City housing, and the city center is close by. I stayed at Lagårdsveien 13, opposite the Police station. The staff were all very supportive and always got back to me quickly. Excellent hospitality, and I’d definitely recommend this service apartment for a stay in Stavanger.

There are several apartment sizes, and mine had a comfortable, large bed. The kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine and electric oven, though there was no blender or mixer. Rooms are cleaned weekly, and washing machines are available in the common area. You can get free tea and coffee on the 3rd floor, and there’s an open terrace on the 4th. There’s also a room with a TV and sofas, but it’s usually closed. The employees were helpful. City Housing is at Lagårdsveien 115, Stavanger.

My apartment faced the main street, so there was noise and a smell that I didn’t enjoy. The rest was fine. The place is close to the center, with a bus stop right outside. If you’re taking Flybussen from the airport, get off at the Park Inn hotel just after the Police station, then walk back to that station. CH is opposite the Police station.

The flats are well organized and equipped, and give you a fully functional place to live. The old town and harbour are only a five-minute walk away. Fantastic location.
