Getting in was easy: they send the room number and door code beforehand, so you can arrive whenever you like. The hostel has little service, but that suited us fine. Our room was good, with a small kitchen and linen included, and there’s a nice shared lounge and rooftop terrace. The kitchen was the weak spot. It had very few utensils and no dish towels, so there was nothing to dry dishes with. The larger shared kitchen had more gear, but guests borrow it for their own kitchens because those are short on equipment. We could find only one pot. Still, a good stay apart from that.

Easy access, fair price, and helpful, friendly staff. It’s close to shops and hiking trails, and there’s no check-in or check-out to deal with.

We had to wait outside for half an hour with our two young children because the door was broken. It was eventually fixed, but we still haven’t had a reply to our request for a price reduction. The bed was broken, too, and the mattress was dirty. The staff didn’t seem to care.

A good place to set off for Preikestolen, with shops, cafes, and walking routes nearby. The room was spacious, with its own kitchen, shower, and toilet. The shared area has washing machines and detergent, plus a well-equipped communal kitchen and a large terrace. Everything was clean. It’s frustrating when people leave dirty, moldy dishes behind without thinking about the next guests who may need to use them.

We had three separate beds and a huge bathroom in our room for three. Everything was fresh and very clean. The shared kitchen on the fourth floor had all we needed, and we made a great breakfast there. The veranda is lovely when the weather cooperates. I’d recommend it for a night or two.
