My wife and I were driving past the campsite, tired and thinking of staying the night. We went straight to the bathrooms to freshen up, skipping reception. That was a huge mistake. A man at reception yelled at us to “get out from here” and said we were behaving very rudely, before letting us explain that we weren’t guests. We left right away. We’ve stayed at many campsites around the world, including in Norway, and have never had an experience like that. In my opinion, calling that behavior rude is putting it mildly. Everywhere else, people have been kind and understood that tourists can make mistakes or break rules unintentionally. Yelling at foreign people like that is unacceptable in any kind of personal interaction.

The site was okay, but I wouldn't hurry back. We only stayed one night, and had to book a spot on my phone as instructed, so there wasn't a warm, friendly welcome at reception.

The owners were really helpful and friendly, and the restaurant food was amazing. We visited for the second time this winter and had a wonderful stay. We can definitely recommend it, and we'll be back, probably for longer next time.

We were there with the family in October 2017. The cabins were old and dirty, smelled of fish and old fish oil in the kitchen, and had very hard beds. Next time, we'd like to stay somewhere else.

A relaxing spot with tasty food and very good service. The cabins were really clean, and there's space outside for kids to play, plus BBQ and fishing options. Good place to unwind!!!!
