We visited this magnificent place in winter, when there was hardly anyone around. It felt like we had the world to ourselves, and we could take photos without jostling for space.

The kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were a good size, but they got very hot and weren’t maintained well. Fans and blackout curtains would have helped with the midnight sun. The beds were uncomfortable, and the place itself felt too small. With only two bathrooms shared by everyone, they were always busy.
