Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh juices, perfectly cooked eggs, smoked salmon, brown cheese, chia pudding, and plenty more. They even had flavored syrups at the breakfast table for coffee or tea. Each room also came with binoculars, a nice touch. What a great hotel, with helpful, informative staff!

Breakfast had a great range of hot and cold options and was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We had a very enjoyable stay: the facilities are new, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. I’d stay here again if I return to Svolvaer.

Dinner was good too, and up to standard. Breakfast had loads to pick from, including tasty bacon and sausage, oatmeal cooked just right, lots of breads and jams, plus different kinds of lees. The room was roomy, with views of the sea and cruise ships, and they even provided binoculars. The bed felt soft and springy, with three pillows. There was a kettle, fridge, hair dryer, coffee maker and tea maker, along with everything else. Hot water came with good pressure. By the elevator there’s an ice machine and an automatic shoe polisher, while the lobby had coffee, still water and sparkling water.

The breakfast had lots of choices, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. I stayed two nights at Thon Hotel Svolvær, right by the sea. The room was spacious, and it was a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Right beside the jetty, and close to the supermarket and shopping malls, so the location is hard to beat. There was a good range of food at breakfast. Since so many Chinese people stay here, maybe they could add a few more Chinese dishes, like egg fried rice? Just a suggestion, haha.
