I love this place! The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and a good size. The original bathroom fittings add a bit of nostalgia, which I rather like. There are plenty of modern touches too, including a big-screen TV, fast WiFi, and key-code access around the clock. The food is great Norwegian fare made with local ingredients, and there's a good range of drinks, especially beers. It feels like the new owners are bringing this great place into the 21st century.

The guesthouse has a lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to meet every special request we had. We're very grateful and will be back!

Malm plassen Gjestegård feels like a trip back to the 80s, with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The management is friendly and the service fantastic. It's an eclectic place, and there's plenty of local history nearby. The natural scenery is breathtaking. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The receptionist was lovely and the service was really good. Since we had to leave early, we were able to make coffee in the dining area and help ourselves to breakfast. The area is pleasant and conveniently located for visiting Roros.

We found the situation utterly dangerous for a stay. It was midsummer night, and the restaurant shut at 6 pm, so we went to Røros for dinner. When we returned, the only person there was a 16-year-old girl who wasn't allowed to serve drinks. At 21:30, she left the hotel without telling us. There seemed to be no fire safety or security at all. No stars from us.
