We found the location handy, just around five minutes on foot from Trondheim Sentralstasjon, right in the city centre. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty to choose from, including the basics like scrambled eggs and oat flakes for an easy bowl of oatmeal. I’d recommend trying the imbir shot first thing in the morning :)

Street-facing rooms can get pretty loud, and you can hear a fair bit through the hallway, so it’s not the best choice for a light sleeper. The room itself was spacious and comfortable enough, nothing fancy. Breakfast was simple and had limited options, but it works for a quick start to the day. Fine for a short stay.

We came by train and only had a few minutes to walk to the hotel. It’s in a perfect spot, and breakfast was great. The shower was perfect too.

After checking in automatically, we found our first room was dark. We asked the staff if we could change rooms and they sorted it out. The second room was big and had decent standards.

The central location makes it easy to get around on foot or by public transport, and the staff respond when you ask them for help. The atrium is beautiful, though I wish the plants were real. Breakfast buffet and room amenities are the usual no-frills minimum for the Comfort hotel chain.
