There's a cozy old atmosphere, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are nice. Breakfast was very good and had a good selection. It can be cold in some spots, noise carries easily between rooms, and the Wi-Fi was a bit unstable. Even so, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay in Tønsberg.

The owner and staff were warm, and the place felt very cozy and calm. It's just a two-minute walk from the castle and five to ten minutes from the city center. The windows look out on nature, there's nice coffee in the mornings, and there's a piano to play if you want. ❤

I hadn't booked a bed, but the friendly staff let me sleep in my friend's room, which had extra beds. They even gave me sheets and breakfast for free. I'll definitely book with them next time I'm in Tønsberg.
