The cozy feel carries through the whole visit, and the room is excellent. We stop here on our way from Denmark to the mountains when we go skiing. We travel with small children, and the restaurant looks after all of us so well. Dinner or breakfast couldn't be better 🤘

The room was nicely decorated, and I slept like a baby. Dinner had really interesting mains and dessert. Just keep in mind the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so you need a car to eat elsewhere unless you fancy a long walk. The spa felt much too small for a place this size. When I booked a few weeks ahead, I couldn't get entry after 2pm. That was before check-in, and the showers were closed for reconstruction, so I'm not sure how that would've worked if we hadn't been able to check in early. Still, it's a nice place for a getaway.

What put us off was the parking charge. The hotel is far out in the middle of nowhere, with no public transportation, so guests have no choice but to arrive by car. The fee is extremely high, and that alone means we won't return. It feels unfair and exploitative to charge premium parking prices when driving is the only option. The policy left a very bad impression and overshadowed what could otherwise have been a decent stay. We'd strongly recommend the hotel reconsider it if it wants repeat customers.

A large spa, good rooms, and a very good restaurant made this a great hotel for a final stay before flying out of Oslo.

The hotel is otherwise great, but watch out for the car charging price. They couldn't tell me the cost upfront, and Easypark didn't show it either. I had to start charging, stop it, and wait 5 minutes to see the total: 27 NOK for less than 4kwh. At 7NOK per kWh for 11kw charging, it feels like a scam.
