Topcamp Havblikk - Helgeland

We really appreciated Victoria Åmso answering the customer calls late at night between 06.08 and 07.08. We'd booked the wrong dates by mistake, driven through the rain all evening, and couldn't check in. Thanks for helping us so late! The cabins are spacious, modern, and cozy, and the place is very close to the ferry. We'd definitely recommend it.

I locked myself out and had to wait an hour before anyone could let me back into my room. I was outside with hardly any clothes on, and the receptionist knew. It was the worst experience. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, and honestly, I'd like a refund.

The cabin was ready for us, clean and warm, with everything we needed inside. We had a good night's sleep with the polarlights above us. We arrived at the campsite late yesterday and had to call its emergency number to get a cabin. Victoria, a very friendly receptionist, came to sort things out, even though it was late on a Sunday and she had to arrange a babysitter. We're very grateful, and can highly recommend her service. I booked and paid for a cabin at the Havblikk-Helgeland location on June 12th, at 17:00, and made it very clear I'd be arriving late. There was nobody around when I got there, and I hadn't received an email with the cabin details or key code. On my four-week motorcycle trip, I'd booked well over 10 cabins, and every other place emailed the late arrival instructions. I tried to find someone and emailed the campground managers. A very nice man helped me work out what to do, and I eventually chose an unlocked cabin. I found three unlocked ones, but none had been cleaned after the previous guests. I picked the cleanest and went to sleep. The reply finally came the next morning. They were extremely rude and blamed me, saying they'd tried to call all day and that I should have called them. Since I booked at 17:00, I don't see how they'd been calling all day. And why should I have to call about a reservation I'd already made and paid for? During those four weeks of accommodation, I never had to call anyone. It was a horrible experience, especially after a long day of riding. I travel through Europe a couple of times a year, and this wasn't acceptable.
