The resort was so clean and beautifully decorated, and our room was modern and lovely, with good beds. The customer service was delightful too. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety, and it still wasn’t expensive at all!😻

Siren and Jan-Eilif made us feel so welcome on our day trip with Aurora Holidays. They shared interesting stories about the area's culture and history, then served a delicious lunch made with traditional and locally sourced food. I’m coeliac and need to eat gluten-free. They made sure I could have all the options or gave me equivalent alternatives, which I really appreciated. Fantastic hosts and food, thank you!

We were surprised by how good the dinner buffet was, with mostly homemade traditional food, and the beds were unexpectedly comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. The owner was very friendly and the hospitality was great. It’s also a perfect spot for watching the northern lights. Wi-Fi in the room reached up to 350 mbps symmetrical. The speedtest was taken in the breakfast room.

The owners are very friendly and look after their guests well. The cooking was fantastic, both the quality and the generous amount. Two people in our small group were vegan, and they were fully catered for. It’s a great base for birdwatching or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended.

We spent six nights at Varangetunet on a fishing trip. Everything was really clean, with modern-style interiors. You can cook for yourself in separate kitchens or order a nice dinner. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. Service and hospitality were amazing. We’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks again!
