From my experience, the woman running this place was rude and really unfriendly. There are other places to stay with much nicer staff, and I won't be coming back.

The young men working there were friendly and helpful, which made the reception experience even more disappointing. The woman running the place was extremely rude, and I’ve never met staff so unpleasant or unfriendly. The location is lovely and could be wonderful, but I was honestly shocked. Better to stay at Randsverk, Lemonsjøen, or another campsite.

The owners were so helpful and friendly, and the whole place was clean and peaceful. I’d happily recommend this campsite.

The site has plenty of space, no traffic noise, enough toilets and showers, plus a shared room and a covered place to cook and sit. Hot water needs a token, and the common room closes around 9pm. I was unhappy with how the receptionist kept hurrying us out of the common room while we needed to make work calls. She also repeatedly chased us for the electricity payment, though we’d already paid for every night at the start. We told her we’d leave a day early, but she kept the extra 150 NOK without mentioning it, and a refund wasn’t available. That didn’t feel like Norwegian hospitality.
