Those beds were properly comfortable, with none of that squeaking, wobbling, or overly soft feel. Breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced, too. The rooms are lovely, the setting is beautiful, and the price compares well with other places to stay in Norway. A good pick for exploring the area.
Ålesund is nearby, and the islands around it are stunning. We stayed for two nights in one of the compact rooms, which was thoughtfully arranged and had a small terrace. The rooms are apart from the hotel, but you can go there for breakfast. I’d recommend it, it’s generous and tasty. There’s also a little supermarket on site.
Lovely views, and it’s close to the airport. There’s free parking and a supermarket on site. We stayed in a room in an outer building, and everything was excellent, from the service to the cleanliness.
The bungalows are outside, and the rooms in them are only just adequate. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. It’s outside Alesund city center, about 15 minutes away by bus 672, with bus 671 for the return.
Works fine if you need somewhere to wait before an early flight.
