Reception is a bright spot here, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are mostly clean, and showers don't cost extra, though the campground itself is only semi-clean with bits of rubbish scattered around. Wi-Fi only reaches the reception area. It's fine for a night or two. Trondheim city center is about half an hour away by electric bike using the bike lanes, or a little longer on a regular bike.

The cabins really need major maintenance. You can tell they're old, and during my stay the advertised Wi-Fi and TV didn't work at all. The laundry machines weren't working properly either, so we couldn't get our bedsheets fully dry. Our mattress was very thin, there was glass on the driveway, and our friends in the neighboring cabin had no curtains in their bathroom. It's cheap, with a nice view and the sea within walking distance, but I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

We thought 200 NOK for one night with the car and tent, plus full use of the facilities, was a great deal. You can pitch wherever you like, and the views are lovely, though train tracks mean there's no way to reach the water's edge. The kitchen and dining room are large, handy for cooking and eating in bad weather, and there are plenty of showers with lots of hot water. A few more toilets outside the shower block would help, since it got busy in the evenings. The grounds were pleasant but quite sloped, and still soggy from earlier rain because drainage wasn't great.

The owner was friendly, and since the facilities were in such poor shape we were allowed to use the kitchen and shower in the motel. We stayed in winter, when there were workmen at the campsite and motel but no tourists. The campsite was cheap, though the old, dirty bathrooms need renovation. Only one of the five showers was working.

We only stayed one night, and it was awful. The kitchen and bathroom were probably the dirtiest I've come across in Scandinavia. There are open, communal showers with no real standard, plus more private shower rooms that were filthy, and most of those showers were broken. The RVs are parked very close together on poorly maintained gravel, and you can hear the airport. The view of the Trondheim Fjord is nice, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend this campground.
