We went on a fantastic hike straight from the lodge. It was high tourist season, but we didn’t see a single person during the full eight-hour hike. The location is really beautiful, and the housing quality was very good for the price. Our room and the shared kitchen were clean, with enough room in the refrigerator and freezer. We could also charge our car for a reasonable cost.

The location is remote but pretty, and the rooms were as promised. The stay itself was nice. The horseback riding we booked, unfortunately, didn’t match what had been agreed: there were no Norwegian fjord horses, and the ride was mostly walking even though we’d booked for experienced riders. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We stayed there for a day with a friend last week. At the end of a 15 kilometer road from the city, surrounded by fjords and trees, the place is quite remote. The room was clean, big and very comfortable, and the room price felt fair for what we got. There was also a fairly large, empty kitchen on the second floor where we could prepare food for hiking. The brown-haired girl at reception was gorgeous and really nice : - D

We arrived quite late in the evening, three men, and the place was closed with nobody there. We asked someone if there was a person we could contact, and everything went smoothly after that. Our room had six beds, a shower and a toilet, plus soap, towels and bed sheets. The host charged a very fair price when he sent us the bill. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a good rest before the next day’s trekking.
