There aren't tea or coffee makers in the rooms, though hot drinks are available all day in the dining room. Breakfast was good enough, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive. The garden and view are lovely if you want to swim in the lake or just unwind somewhere pleasant.

The hotel is older and rustic, but the staff were so friendly and made the place feel like home. They really went out of their way to keep us comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room had a lovely lake view. Highly recommend.

At sunrise, especially, the views are spectacular. The staff were fabulous, so helpful and clearly committed to giving the best service they could. It felt a world away from the global hotel chains, in the best way.

After a long day, this is a cheap roadside motel in a convenient spot for a good night's sleep. The lake view is nice, breakfast is free with good bread and coffee, and the staff are very friendly. The room is fine for roadside motel standards, though a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. Everything worked: the shower had good pressure, shampoo and body wash were provided, the heater worked, and the beds were clean and comfortable.
