Just a short walk from Chitwan National Park, Holy Lodge made a peaceful base for jungle safaris, river sunsets, and family adventures. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, simple but warm. Ram, the director and a proud Tharu, shared his stories, kindness, and connection to his roots through an authentic Tharu cultural show. It gave us one of the most beautiful moments of our trip and helped us feel the living spirit of the Tharu people. Holy Lodge is more than somewhere to sleep. Culture and hospitality feel very present here, and we left with lasting memories. Thank you, Ram, for sharing your world with us.

We were there for one night. The in-house Tharu dance and breakfast were good. At first everything seemed okay, but then we found problems: the hot water didn't work, the room Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the bedsheets and blankets smelled bad.

Waking up with a 🦏 right at my doorstep was something else. The staff at Holy Lodge were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the food was amazing. I tried literally everything on the menu while I was there. Big up to my guide Dhuppa, who looked after me so well.

Boats leave from right outside the hotel, and there's a view of the river. There’s also a rhino wallowing hole between the river and the hotel. The manager was very accommodating. Perfect location, and I definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The staff made this stay for me, especially Ramun, who was just the nicest guy. I’m grateful I got to meet him. The food was good, and breakfast was wonderful and really filling. It’s a lovely spot near the jungle safari and the river viewpoint, and I was surprised how nice it was for a two star hotel. I’ve stayed in three star places that weren’t as good.
