Royal Tiger Safari Resort

The tours they arranged for me were amazing, full of fun and information. Everyone was warm and did their best to help. The resort itself is nice-ish, with a pretty garden and swimming pool. My room was a little dated, and the paintwork was sloppy, but that's understandable for the price. Thanks for all the help and warmth.

The staff were all great, and the food was good. Jungle resort is a beautiful little place, with modern, really clean rooms and a very clean shower. A few suggestions: the WiFi only worked at reception, there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, and lunch and dinner had the same food with no other choices. Those things didn't take away from our stay.

The greenery made the ambiance amazing, and the location was accessible. You get what you pay for here. Staff were polite and hospitality was good; the rooms were decent and had AC. The food was absolutely amazing, the dining hall was decent, and there are villa-like modals for families. Even an evening walk around the resort was enjoyable. I had a few problems too. The internet wasn't working in the morning, the phone number on the card wasn't answered, and there were mosquitoes and night insects. The pool was completely occupied on Friday night, though I enjoyed it the next afternoon. It didn't look clean, with a few leaves, beetles, and insects in it. The parking area had no roof, so I had to leave my bike in the rain all night. I'd definitely go again.

At first, Sunny was very welcoming and met us at the bus park when we arrived. We chose the place because its reviews looked good, and he offered us a room with three beds for 300 Rs per bed per night. He didn’t explain that price depended on booking national park services through him, and we reserved two nights without knowing that condition. We waited for him to discuss his services, then went to compare other agencies and booked elsewhere. When we told him, his manner changed completely. He gave us a guilt trip about how he had treated us like family and we had turned our backs on him, then said he didn’t want us at his hotel anymore. It was around 6 pm, and he was trying to make three women leave because we hadn’t booked through him. That felt pretty shady. We packed our bags and were ready to go, but he came back and said we could stay that night and leave the next day. The following morning, he apologized and offered us another night, seemingly to protect the hotel’s reputation. We stayed only that first night.
