OYO 311 Annapurna Hotel

The food was the main problem during our stay in two rooms at Hotel Annapurna, Birgunj. At dinner, five plates of mutton curry costing ₹3,000 arrived undercooked, tough, and inedible. When we raised it, the staff were dismissive instead of apologizing. A chef handled the meat with bare hands, squeezing and pressing it in the kitchen. They took all five plates away and pressure-cooked them for nearly 20 minutes while we waited without an update. The food came back piled onto one plate, with no gravy left for the rice. Earlier, our room-service mutton taas had been burnt so badly it looked like charcoal. For a place claiming a 4-star rating on Google, the experience was disgraceful. There was no apology, accountability, or sign of standards.

It was a peaceful place to unwind, and the staff were always polite and willing to help. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the essentials. I found the stay good value for the money.

The staff were helpful the whole time, and I had a comfortable, good stay. It was a lovely experience, and I’d recommend the hotel for a pleasant visit.

Dhanbir sahab made our overnight stop really comfortable. We were on the way from Kathmandu to India with our family, and they were attentive and accommodating with what we needed. Would recommend :)
