Capital O 661 Hotel Delbia

The first impression and service were good, and the room was better than we expected. I’d have given five stars if checkout had gone smoothly. We paid online, but although the money left our account, they said the payment hadn’t worked and made us pay again in cash. We never got the first payment back. Don’t make the same mistake we did, never pay online! :)

The toilet was unbearably dirty, and the glass and china sinks looked as if they’d never been cleaned. The drain didn’t work, so the bathroom flooded, and the toilet seat wasn’t secured and moved around. The room had no windows for fresh air, like being stuck in a remote cave. For the price, there were no decent facilities. I’ve never paid for a hotel in advance before, but the receptionist said that was the hotel’s way. It left me feeling extremely humiliated, as if I might run off without paying. I’d avoid this hotel at all costs. A complete waste, and I was very disappointed.

The bed was comfortable, so that earns the one star. Otherwise, there were no windows, nearly everything from the door knob to the toilet seat was broken, and there was a bad, stuffy smell. It looked fancy, but that seemed to be all they cared about. Definitely overpriced for what it was.

The room prices are affordable, and the staff are polite and very helpful to customers. The food and snacks were the best ever.
