I loved the balcony seating area, especially with that cool, gentle breeze, and the little front garden was lovely too. Flowers and greenery surround a peaceful spot to sit. On my walks up the stairs, I could smell my favorite flower, Raat Rani (night jasmine), which made them feel a bit magical. I spent two nights at Chef House Resort and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere felt peaceful and homey. My room and bathroom were both spacious, spotless, and stocked with the essentials. There was also a well-equipped mini bar, though I didn’t use it. The place felt cozy and welcoming, like a home away from home. The owner is an internationally renowned chef, and I had the pleasure of meeting him. He made me a delicious meal that really hit the spot. He remembered that I love dalle khursani (spicy chili) and surprised me with some the next day without my asking. Such a thoughtful gesture. Everyone on the team was kind, attentive, and smiling. Their hospitality made the stay feel special. I’d gladly return and recommend Chef House Resort to anyone wanting comfort, peace, good food, and warm service.

I was there for six nights, and the staff were kind and attentive. On the second day they brought my coffee the way I like it without me having to ask. The place was very clean and tidy, the food was wonderful, and the AC was a blessing. Compared with many hotels in Nepal, it’s excellent.

Our bedroom was comfortable and perfectly clean, with everything we needed and more. The service was second to none, and you can tell the workers have plenty of hospitality experience. The owners were friendly and accommodating, responding to every request kindly and respectfully. Be sure to have dinner at the restaurant, the Nepalese food was delicious and served with a smile. This place was the best part of our Nepal trip, and I can’t wait to return to Kathmandu and stay at chef house resort.

The hot shower was a little tricky at times, but it worked well if you waited. The room had good amenities, and the place was quiet, clean, and relaxing. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Thanks for a nice stay. We’ll be back.
