The family who runs this little Buddhist hotel made our stay especially good. The owner was so kind and helped us book bus tickets, patiently sorting through the transport company's date changes and update calls. We stayed both before and after our Buddhism course at Kopan Monastery, and found the rooms clean, cozy, quiet, and comfortable, with a great view over Kathmandu. The restaurant's local and Tibetan food felt homemade, especially the momos and soups, and the western-style black coffee was very good too. It's a bit outside the city center, but this has been our best stay in Kathmandu so far. 🙏

Big, comfortable beds and spotless rooms, and the nights are quiet. It's only about a five-minute walk to Kopan Monastery on a trail. A very friendly Tibetan family runs the place. Cool spot, lovely people.

The mattress was especially good for my sensitive back, and the room felt thoughtfully put together. It's a quiet spot close to nature, a welcome break from the city's noise. The price is very reasonable too. I'd happily recommend it and stay here again.

The views are phenomenal, and some beautiful monasteries and temples are within a 30-minute walk. Right by the forest, it feels idyllic. Staff are friendly and accommodating, caring when you need something without hovering. The community is close-knit and looks out for one another. Rooms are spacious and clean, with hot showers and a fan, and the beds make it hard to get up.
