Paul and the staff are what made our stay so special. They were friendly and helpful with everything, from rides and excursions to meals and all our questions. The day shift ladies were attentive, and the evening gentleman was kind and accommodating too. The room was a good size, the AC felt great in the heat, and the view from the balcony was lovely. The shower is open, so keep that in mind if you’re not used to one. I got better pressure from the handheld head, which I left on the wall and used as my regular shower. Hot water was sometimes hit or miss, though Paul did his best to help. Laundry was good, but drying took a couple of days in some weather and was much quicker when it was sunny. Daily room cleaning is available, though you may need to ask for it. The food was a delicious first introduction to Nepali dishes for me. My favorites were the English breakfast, chicken momos, and masala chai. A couple of practical things: the room power comes on when you put the card in the wall slot, and outlets need their nearby switches turned on. 29 Eleven Bed and Breakfast gave us a wonderful stay in Nepal. I’d love to return. Thank you, especially to Paul and the team, for such remarkable hospitality.

Patan is easy to explore from here, though the guesthouse itself sits somewhere peaceful, away from the bustle. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the rooms are cozy and spotless, and ours had a balcony with mountain views. Breakfast is included and was a delicious way to start the day. 29 Eleven Bed and Breakfast felt like a home away from home, and I’d happily recommend it for a relaxing stay in Nepal.

There’s a lovely valley view from the rooms and the building, and the room itself was comfortable, with very good AC and a nice shower. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning. Paul and his team made our family’s stay at 29 Eleven a great experience, and Paul was a very hospitable host. I can see 29 Eleven continuing to improve over the coming days, months, and years.

I left very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place. For a property advertised as a bed and breakfast, the breakfast was extremely poor in both taste and quality. Even basic items like a toothbrush and the tea that was meant to be included weren’t offered unless I asked specifically. The owner/receptionist also came across as impolite and unprofessional, and seemed to have little hospitality experience. The whole stay fell far below what I expected.
