The rooftop was a highlight, and the location worked really well for us. We spent two weeks here in Kathmandu and felt welcomed like part of the family. Everyone showed us wonderful hospitality, and the service was impeccable. We’d happily come back.

Rex, the gentle, well-behaved hotel dog, brightened every day, and the little beer and momo party the hotel put on for me during my last week was such a thoughtful surprise. The rooms were spotless and cozy, with small touches that made them feel like home, and breakfast was freshly made and delicious each morning. When unrest meant we couldn’t leave the hotel, the team gave us three full meals a day for free. I won’t forget that generosity. From the moment I arrived, everyone treated me like family and was kind, caring, and ready to help. This place felt like a home full of warmth. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone visiting Nepal.

It’s hard to know what to say about Sagarmatha Apartment bed & breakfast because it was simply that good. It went beyond what I expected.

I stayed for six months, though it felt more like six days. The staff were so helpful and made the place feel like family. The breakfast was great, the apartment was very clean, and the laundry service was perfect. The housekeeping ladies were super friendly too. There are only a few restaurants right nearby, but walk five minutes uphill and you’ll find more than 30. I enjoyed my stay a lot and highly recommend Sagarmatha apartment bed and breakfast to expats and travellers.
