The place is peaceful, with a wide view of the mountains, even though they looked hazy when we arrived on a gloomy day. It took us under an hour to get here from Durbarmarg. Most of the road is paved, but it gets rough near the end, so I wouldn’t recommend coming in a low-clearance vehicle. There’s plenty to do, from swimming, hiking, reading, and pool to relaxing by the fireplace. The food was great too: my daughter said the pork chops were the best, and I loved the grilled trout. They offer packages for couples, groups of three, and other needs. We later stayed overnight and left feeling really relaxed. The service and attention to detail were lovely. On a Saturday morning, don’t miss making sel roti. It’s delicious, and you can try making it yourself. You can also arrange a morning yoga session with a teacher. We liked the activity room, and the kids enjoyed the heated pool while us moms made use of the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.

The mountain scenery was a highlight throughout our two nights at Terrace Resort & Spa, from sunrise outside our room to sunset around the property. Our two daughters loved it, and the calm setting gave all of us a chance to relax and reconnect. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and spotless. We also enjoyed a yoga session surrounded by nature and mountain views. With attentive service and thoughtful experiences, it made for a lovely family getaway. Highly recommended.

The city views are great, and the staff are very friendly. The food was good too. There’s a spot for tea and watching the sunset, but you need a reservation and can’t just walk in as a customer.

The food was good, and the portions were generous. There’s a small heated pool and jacuzzi for guests to share. The villa suites seemed comfortable and well equipped, though the outdoor areas could use better upkeep. The access road is rough, but the location itself is good. It’s quite isolated, so it suits a visit when you want to get away from city life.

The food was excellent, especially the meal prepared by Chef Mr.Deepak and his team. Chef Mr.Deepak gave it personal attention, and my wife and I really appreciated the delicious meal. From arrival, the staff were courteous and professional. A lovely star hotel, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a world-class dining experience.
