Traditional Newari Homestay

Dinesh and Rosmi were so kind and helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay. I’ve been to homestays in several countries, and this one is a favorite. I loved it here!

Denish’s advice changed our travels in the best way. After we arrived in Nepal, he shared interesting stories and encouraged us to visit less touristy regions. We ended up hiking beautiful mountain trails, and he helped with everything we needed. We could contact him and ask questions while traveling. Thanks so much to Denish and his family. We’ll definitely come back! His home is beautiful and comfortable, with a traditional Newari style, and it’s well located for seeing Patan or Kathmandu. The rooms are lovely, and the beds were probably the most comfortable we slept in during three months of travel. Denish’s hospitality was incomparable.

The family is so sweet, and their local Newari food is delicious. The home feels beautiful and cozy, and I slept on the most comfortable beds I’ve had in Nepal. I’ve stayed in lots of Nepali homestays, and this is definitely one of my favorites.

The price is very reasonable, and the neighborhood is lovely and charming. The house has a traditional Nepali style and feels incredibly cosy and beautiful, full of charm. It’s my favorite place to stay in Katmandu, especially if you want to enjoy the Nepali lifestyle and immerse yourself in the culture. I’ll definitely stay with them whenever I’m back in Katmandú.
