Rupa View Guest house

The room was a great size, comfortable, very clean, and had good hot water pressure. We loved relaxing here and walking to Rupa and Begnas lakes. The hosts are wonderful, friendly people, and the garden is full of birds and butterflies. The food, made with ingredients from their garden, was delicious. Best Dahl bat in Nepal! The setting is beautiful, with panoramic mountain views at sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend.

We spent four wonderful days at Rupa View Guesthouse, perched above Rupa Lake, and it felt like a little paradise. The hosts were wonderful, the rooms nice, and the views spectacular. We were really impressed by the food too, much of it grown right on the property. Nearby hikes include the new Rupa Suspension Bridge, and Begnas Lake is a short hike away. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy nature.

The owner's involvement in creating the nearby biological park was interesting, and he was friendly in explaining the local scenery and situation. The rooftop has a wow-worthy view of the Annapurna range on a clear day. The hosts are very welcoming, and this may be the most relaxing place to stay around Rupa lake if you're looking to escape the city's bustle. Dinner was typical Nepali food, like the best meal your mom or grandma might make, and probably the best I've ever had. It's hard to appreciate everything here without visiting. Simply amazing, highly recommended.

My fiancée and I stayed at Rupa View Guesthouse last month, and it was both brilliant and affordable. We came away with so many warm memories of this peaceful place. The forest covered guesthouse feels like an escape into nature. From the rooms, windows open onto postcard-like views of the snowy Himalayas and Rupa valley. It was very peaceful, and ideal for bird and butterfly watching at dawn and in the evening. If you're hoping to step away from city life and enjoy real tranquillity, this place suits that perfectly. The hospitality and food were another highlight. Mr Damodar Bhakta Thapa was always there to help with our requests, and his wife made us traditional Nepali meals. We'd certainly go back. Recommended!
