The home-cooked meals were delicious, the mountain views were beautiful, and the host made us feel incredibly welcome. It's a memorable place if you're after a genuine homestay and a glimpse of how local families live. We did find it hard to rest comfortably because we felt itchy in the bed, and the bathroom bin looked like it hadn't been emptied in a while. I know this is a homestay rather than a hotel, but some basic hygiene could be better. There's almost no sound insulation either. On a rainy night, the rain and the house itself were extremely loud. That rustic village feel might be interesting for some travelers, though. I'd recommend it to people looking for a local experience, as long as they come expecting less than hotel-level comfort in cleanliness, facilities, and noise.

A lovely break from Kathmandu, with peaceful nature and cool views in Nagarkot. The people were so nice and welcoming. The owner helped me sort out my plans and waited for me even though I arrived late in the evening. They made sure I was full with organic food from their own backyard.

Kishor and Manju made us feel at home from the start, meeting us by the roadside with tea. Their home is tucked away from the usual routes and felt like a lovely way for my wife and me to experience Nepali life. They cooked a delicious dinner with food from their garden, and we slept so well in the cosy beds in the quiet. We watched a lovely sunrise through the window. In the morning, they brought us more tea and a tasty bowl of soup, just right before another day of hiking. We can't wait to return!

The food was one of my favorite parts. Aunty made delicious home-cooked meals with fresh organic vegetables, authentic flavors, and real care. Uncle also went out of his way with local arrangements, making everything easy. The room was spotless, cosy, and well-kept, with lovely hill views and crisp mountain air to start the day. The hosts treated us like family, and Sheero ❤️, the friendly dog who lives there, added plenty of warmth and memorable moments. It's a peaceful retreat surrounded by green hills, just the kind of place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The scenery, comfortable stay, thoughtful hospitality, and food made for a rejuvenating mountain getaway. A highly recommended, authentic homestay that left us with lasting memories.
