The family made my birthday stay feel like home away from home. At dinner, they all came out to sing for me with the other guests, and I’m so grateful for their kindness, hospitality, and help every day. The room was spacious and had its own bathroom. From the terrace you can see the surrounding mountains and the sunrise. The family cooks delicious homemade organic food, with generous portions at reasonable prices. It’s near trails where you can see the Himalayas at sunrise and explore parts of Nagarkot on foot. This place was just perfect for me.

The room and toilet were basic, but the value for money was great. The people and the place were wonderful, and the food was the best we’ve had in Nepal so far, especially the breakfast puri and veg tarkari and the tea. We got up for sunrise, as you should, and the views of the Himalayas and Everest were amazing. Such a beautiful place, both of us loved visiting.

A really laid-back homestay, with a clean room and beautiful views. They made us some nice barbecue chicken to eat by the bonfire. Loved it!

Simple and cozy, with delicious hot food and a warm family feel. There are quiet walks in the hills nearby, and views to enjoy. It’s a little lower down the side of nagarkot, not up at the peak. Skip it if you’re after somewhere fancy, but it’s a lovely spot for a grounded, wholesome bit of time in the hills.
