Bar Peepal Resort

We loved the authentic Nepali food, and the staff made the stay especially pleasant with their warmth and readiness to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. The resort’s views bring the lake, city, and mountains together in one panorama. There’s no elevator, so reaching our room meant taking the stairs. That might be a little hard for older guests or anyone with mobility issues, though it wasn’t a problem for us.

Our arrival could have been awkward since the rooms were all booked, but the team found us a place at a nearby partner hotel and made the move easy. They kept checking that we were comfortable and looked after. Clear updates and considerate follow-ups made us feel supported despite the change. We really appreciated the extra care, and would recommend them for their hospitality, professionalism, and commitment to guests.

The room balcony looked out over the lake, and the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. Dinner was tasty too, especially the Vegetarian Thali and Biryani. They let us check in early and arranged both airport pickup and a ride back. The people made the biggest impression: always smiling, checking how we were doing, and ready to help make things comfortable. The rooms were very clean, and the food was excellent. One of the best five-star hotels I’ve stayed at. We’d come back for a longer visit.

Three nights here and I’m really enjoying it so far. My room has a lovely lake view, and the whole complex is beautiful. Everyone’s been nice and helpful, and the food is delicious. Breakfast has plenty of traditional Nepali choices alongside some Western ones. I’d stay here again on my next visit.
